Tides Today

Today’s tides, plain and simple: live NOAA high and low tide times for 130+ US coastal cities, updated from official predictions. Pick your city below or open the interactive tide map to find the station nearest you.

Today’s high and low tides

Every coast runs its own schedule today. Most US coasts see two high tides and two low tides daily (semidiurnal); the Gulf Coast mostly sees one of each (diurnal). Times shift about 50 minutes later each day, so today’s tides won’t match yesterday’s. Each city page below shows today’s exact highs and lows from live NOAA predictions — no signup, no clutter.

How to read today’s tide chart

On any city’s tide chart, the peaks are high tides and the valleys are low tides, with heights in feet above MLLW (mean lower low water). The steepest parts of the curve are when water moves fastest — that’s when fishing, boating, and beach plans feel the tide most. For the full walkthrough, see our guide to reading tide charts.
