Biloxi Tide Chart

Biloxi — Mississippi’s casino coast on the Mississippi Sound — runs on diurnal Gulf tides: one high and one low a day, around two feet, predicted from the NOAA station at Pascagoula, about 20 miles east.

The pattern

One high tide and one low tide per day with only about two feet of range — classic northern Gulf. The whole daily swing happens in a single cycle, so timing the one moving-water window matters more than anywhere else.

Sound fishing

Speckled trout and redfish work the grass beds and oyster reefs of the Mississippi Sound; the barrier islands — Ship, Horn, Cat — hold bull reds and sharks in the passes. Shrimp season follows the tide, too.

Boating

The sound is shallow and the barrier-island passes shoal — mind the marked channels. Summer squalls build fast; the tide sets your departure window. For the region, see our Gulf Coast tides guide.
