Sabine Pass Tide Chart
Sabine Pass — the Texas Gulf community at the mouth of Sabine Lake, where the Sabine-Neches Waterway meets the sea — runs on small Texas-coast tides of around a foot. Note the NOAA station sits at Texas Point, about five miles east of town, so local times run a little later.

The pattern
Small, often diurnal tides of around a foot — some days bring just one high and one low. On Sabine Lake the wind moves as much water as the moon, so tide-timed plans need a weather eye too.
Lake fish and jetties
Sabine Lake is redfish and speckled-trout water — waders and kayaks work the marsh edges and shell, and flounder stack at the bayou mouths. The jetties at the pass hold bull reds and trout on moving water; see our best time to fish tides guide.
Boating
The Sabine-Neches ship channel is big-ship water — stay clear of the freighters and their wakes. Sabine Lake itself is shallow with soft, shifting bottom; Sea Rim State Park’s marsh is boat-only water. For the region, see our Texas tides guide.
