Port Canaveral Tide Chart
Port Canaveral — the Space Coast cruise port next to Cocoa Beach — works a three-foot semidiurnal tide measured at Trident Pier, the clock behind its inlet fishing, surf sessions, and launch-viewing boat trips.

The pattern
Two highs and two lows daily with around three feet of range — modest water that still moves hard through the inlet jetties. The tide floods the Banana River and Indian River lagoons behind the barrier island.
Fishing and surf
The jetties give up snook, redfish, and tarpon on moving water; kings and cobia run just offshore. Cocoa Beach, minutes south, is East Coast surf capital — the sandbars shape up on specific tide stages.
Boating
The inlet carries cruise-ship traffic — small boats keep clear of the channel and mind the security zones. Time ocean exits for the tide, and combine a launch day with a night rocket view from the water. For the region, see our Southeast Atlantic tides guide.
