West Palm Beach Tide Chart
West Palm Beach fronts the Lake Worth Lagoon and the deep blue beyond — a three-foot semidiurnal tide that times the inlet’s snook bite and the sailfish fleet’s departures.

The pattern
Two highs and two lows daily with about three feet of range — bigger than Miami’s, thanks to the wider lagoon mouth. The Lake Worth Inlet runs the strongest current of any South Florida pass on the tide change.
Inlet and offshore
The inlet’s jetties and bridges hold snook, tarpon, and jacks on moving water — a night snook bite under the lights is the local signature. Offshore, this is sailfish country in winter: the fleet times the inlet with the tide and runs to the edge.
Boating
Lake Worth Inlet is deep and well-marked but runs hard on the ebb — cross with the current when you can. The Intracoastal behind Palm Beach is the sheltered route. For the wider coast, see our Southeast Atlantic tide guide.
