Naples, Florida Tide Chart
Naples pairs sugar-white Gulf beaches with a backcountry maze — a two-to-three-foot mixed tide that floods the mangroves of Naples Bay and the Ten Thousand Islands twice daily.

The pattern
A mixed semidiurnal tide with two to three feet of range in the bay — a touch bigger than Fort Myers to the north. The backcountry creeks run later than the passes, so back-bay anglers should favor an inside station.
Backcountry fishing
Snook, redfish, and trout haunt the mangrove shorelines and oyster bars, keying on the moving water — the falling tide drains the creeks and concentrates everything at the mouths. The Ten Thousand Islands to the south are the wilderness extension of the same fishery.
Beaches and boating
The Gulf beaches fish pompano and whiting in the troughs on the rising tide. Boaters should mind the skinny back-bay cuts at low water and the passes’ current on the change. For the wider Gulf, see our Gulf Coast tide guide.
